BRIEF ABOUT: An exhibition of more than 100 pieces is a four-part exhibition, crossing a variety of media and genres to examine representations of water in art. The show reflects Hampton Roads’ significant association with water, through its military history, shipbuilding, livelihoods and beach culture, in four themes: “A Day at the Beach,” “Floating,” “Hiroshige’s Waters” and “Swimming Holes.”
