Award winners for the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center in Troy, Ohio 11th juried photography exhibit, “Through Our Eyes: Life in the Miami Valley” were given at the opening reception on Sunday, May 5, 2019. The show remains on view through Sunday, June 23, 2019.
Juried by artist and educator Timothy Wells and Diana Thompson, Executive Director of the Miami County Visitors & Convention Bureau, they awarded 26 winning photographs from 120 entries by 48 photographers for Best of Show, First, Second, Third Place and Honorable Mention in each of the five categories. The cash awards totaled $1,800.

DeRyke (Miamisburg, OH) – The Golden Hour; Honorable Mentions: Christopher N. Clark (Troy, OH) – Tracked; and Heidi Scribner (Troy, OH) – Cocktail Hour.
Life in the Miami Valley: First Place: Anna Thomasson (Pleasant Hill, OH) – Shadows; Second Place: Diana Wesco (Troy, OH) – Eye Spy; Third Place: Eric Wright (Dayton, OH) – Fountain Fun; Honorable Mentions: Connie Galey (Troy, OH) – Troy Memorial Stadium; and Kyle J. Falb (Troy, OH) – Downtown Bicycle.
