The second exhibit, “Many Moods in Watercolor” by the nationally acclaimed artist Dwight Rose, will consist of fifteen works of architecture, florals and landscapes. “I do not paint people, things, architecture or landscapes, I paint what light does to people, things, architecture and landscapes,” Rose said. “This show embodies a style that’s based on representational impressionism where the beginnings are based on an abstractive design. As a transparent watercolorist, I thrive on the use of the white of the paper for my lights and working with a palette that is comprised of pigments that are of a transparent quality also. Spotlighted in this show will be the inspirations I found in unlikely places.”
