DES MOINES, IA (PNAN) – On view, “Alison Elizabeth Taylor: The Sum of It” is the most comprehensive gathering of this artist’s work to date at the Des Moines Art Center. The show assembles dozens of works that chronicle her steady mastery of the now nearly forgotten technique of wood inlay and reveal Taylor’s talent as an extraordinary storyteller of 21st century American life and culture.
