(PNAN-AL) – The Huntsville Museum of Art’s Deputy Director and Director of Education, Carolyn Faraci was chosen to serve as its Interim President and CEO. “We on the Board of Directors for the Huntsville Museum of Art feel incredibly fortunate to have had Mrs. Faraci, who has served as Deputy Director for two and a half years, in place,” said Board Chairman Middie Thompson. “Her experience is invaluable and will make for a smooth transition.”
Faraci has been with the Museum for the past 12 years and will be assuming the duties of the Clayton Bass, who has accepted a partnership and consulting position with the professional fundraising company Alexander Haas in Atlanta. “Clayton Bass has set a wonderful example, and I intend to do my best to continue his good work in the community’s new Museum,” expressed Mrs. Faraci.
A Search Committee has been formed to begin the process of interviewing and hiring the new President and CEO of the Huntsville Museum of Art. Chairing the committee is John Wynn, Museum Board member, including committee members Sarah Gessler, Board of Directors Vice-Chair; Patsy Haws, Board Member; John Irby, Board Member and Carole Jones, Foundation Board Member. Current Board of Directors Chairman, Middie Thompson, will serve as an Ex-Officio member.
