“The ABC’s in Lima: An Exhibition of Photography” with works by Jason Bowers will go in view Friday, February 4 in the City Club from 5:30-9:30 pm during the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center’s Wine & Jazz gala.
During the opening, one of the works in the Lima collection will be raffled. In addition, reprints as well as the entire 26 photograph gallery will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds going to the VMCC Foundation Board.
Incorporating the ABC’s, the show will be feature 26 photographs of scenes and architecture around Lima and will remain on view in the City Club through May.

After graduation in 1998 from Bowling Green State University, where he received a BS in Journalism, Jason Bowers worked as a photographer for several newspapers as well as freelanced. “I discovered that I truly enjoyed working for myself. This education and real world experience prepared me to develop my style, particularly wedding photography.” Along with his candid photojournalistic approach, he also incorporates various contemporary artistic elements.
