Show to be inspired with much ‘faith’

     (AAPNW-TN) – Beginning at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 26, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Faith Hill will the special guest musical artist at the 2011 Symphony Spring Fashion Show. Presented by Marissa Collections of Naples, Florida, the event will showcase the 2011 fall collection of internationally recognized design team Marchesa. All proceeds go to the Nashville Symphony and its music education programs, including the Thor Johnson Scholarship Fund.

      As a five-time GRAMMY® Award winner, Hill possesses a voice that is as powerful as it is recognizable. Her 17-year career has been highlighted by the sale of more than 30 million records worldwide, during which time she has celebrated 13 singles and 20 videos that topped the charts. She has earned three Country Music Association Awards; 12 Academy of Country Music Awards; four American Music Awards and four People’s Choice Awards.

     Marchesa co-founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig met at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and subsequently in 2004 established the Marchesa label. Their unique designs have gone on to achieve international acclaim, and in 2006, the label was named one of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund’s top 10 finalists. Their designs have been worn by such stars as Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria and Halle Berry. A trunk show will be held Wednesday, April 27, at Spaces in Belle Meade.
