The Wassenberg Art Center in Van Wert, Ohio has issued a call for entries for its 55th Annual June Art Exhibit. Entries will be taken Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22, from 1:00-5:00 pm. Entry is open to all adult artists (18 and older). A non-refundable fee of $15 for Wassenberg members or $20 for non-members entitles the artist to enter up to three works.
Artists must fill out entry forms legibly and completely, and bring them with entries to the art center on the entry dates. All work must be delivered unpacked by the artist or his/her agent. No artwork will be accepted before or after the official entry dates. Mail entries will not be accepted.
Entries must be original in concept, design and execution. Copies of other artwork or published photographs from calendars, magazines, etc., are not acceptable. All painting and drawing media, hand-pulled prints, collages, sculpture, mixed media, pottery, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metalwork, fiber art and wood work are eligible for entry. Not eligible: Photography or computer generated art.
This is a juried show; entry does not guarantee that work will be exhibited. A $1,000+ in total cash prizes will be awarded.
