(NWPR-OH) – Café seating, popcorn and soda pop is all part of the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center’s film series that is now in its fifth year. “Lets Go to the Movies” rolls out one of Alfred Hitchcock’s best known films, “Psycho” that weaves a tale when Marion Crane steals $40,00o. After driving several hours in the rain, she stops at the Bates Hotel for the night where she meets and talks with Norman, the quiet manager. Tired after driving and talking, Marion decides to take a shower before getting some sleep. For the rest of the story, showtime begins at 7:30 pm on Friday, October 15.
The series which also starts with an introduction of the film as well as a short discussion afterwards are for adults because the material may not be appropriate for under age 13. Free and open to the public, new films are shown in the months of: October, November, January, February, March and April. The next upcoming films are: “High Noon” on November 12 and on January 14, 2011, “The Princess Bride.”
