LIMA, OH (NWPR) – On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, ArtSpace/Lima will highlight their partnership with the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District with two events:
Beginning at 5:00 pm, there will be a reception for the winning photographers from the JAMPD photography contest, which the works are currently on view through December 31, 2022.
From 6:00 to 7:00 pm, there will be a gallery talk about crows by Dan Hodges, environmental education supervisor from the park district. Crows are featured in two of the galleries at exhibition, “Lost. Recovered. Reborn.”
The American Crow is one of the most recognizable birds in North America. Their opportunistic nature and adaptability make them incredibly successful, but the ingenuity and inquisitiveness of these birds make them stand out among their avian cousins as some of the smartest animals on the planet.
Both events are free and open to the public. For information on this event, including other programming, call Sally Windle at 419-222-1721.
