A pure gold strike of creativity

ANCHORAGE, AK (PNAN) – The 2025 Alaska Triennial invites artists from across the state to share recently created work. This open call reveals not only the depth and breadth of artistic practice in Alaska, but also the mastery of a wide range of mediums from intricate beadwork to graphite, encaustic, ceramic, printmaking, woodworking and textile.

Going on view Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Anchorage Museum, through a blind selection process, 47 artists were selected from a pool of 222 applicants who are: Brianna Allen, Kate Boyan, Honore Buckley, Pamela Butcher, Susan Campbell, Grace Choi, Sharlene Cline, Katie Ione Craney, Gail Davidson, Don Decker, Joshua Demain, Alanna DeRocchi, Monica Devine, Colleen Firmin Thomas, Hal Gage, Jenny Irene, Acacia Johnson, Sus an Johnson, Arlitia Jones, Javid Kamali, Joseph Kashi, Mary Bee Kaufman, Young Kim, Carla Klinker, Peter Krupski, Inari Kylänen, Ethan Lauesen, Petra Lisiecki, Melanie Lombard, Emily Longbrake, Maureen Meyer, David Mollett, Ree Nancarrow, Adele Person, Susan Joy Share, Lauren Stanford, Marianne Stolz, Addie Studebaker, Emily Sullivan, Sara Tabbert, Shoko Takahashi, Kerry Tasker, Owen Tucker, Antoinette Walker, Michael Walsh, Gretchen Weiss-Brooks, and Jacob Wilson.

     Curator and Director of Visual Arts at the Yukon Arts Centre (Whitehorse, YT, Canada), the 2025 Alaska Triennial is juried by Mary Bradshaw.
