Airways to fill with many hits

Directed by Chelsea Whirledge and accompanied by Christopher Andres, on Saturday, May 18, at 7:00 pm and on Sunday, May 19 at 2:00 pm, the Greenville High School Vocal Music Department will present their annual spring production of “Choir-O-Rama” at the St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville, Ohio.

THE WAVAIRES

The show opens with all the choirs performing “Sing” by Pentatonix and “High Hopes and Meant to Be” with the Wavaires.  The Girls Glee will perform a medley of super hits. Collage will perform a mix of classic rock such as, “Put Another Dime in the Jukebox” and a tribute to Aretha Franklin with “Respect/Think.” Also, the Concert Choir will perform selections by the Imagine Dragons. In addition, the Wavaires and along with a live band, will perform selections by Queen such as, “We are the Champions”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, “We Will Rock You”, “Somebody to Love” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

For both shows directed by JR Price, the Greenville High School Jazz Scene will perform, including join in on senior spotlight performances as well as unite with theWavaires for “Skyfall” and “Lean on Me.”

Wrapping up, all the seniors in the vocal music program and the combined choirs will perform “Stand By You”, “Most People are Good” and “We are the World.”
