Opening Wednesday, May 1 through Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Sauder Village in Archbold, Ohio will be the 43rd Annual Quilt Show is a kaleidoscope of color and creativity on exhibit during this spectacular five-day show. Show hours Wednesday-Saturday are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Quilts will be on full-length display in categories ranging from pieced, appliqué and mixed media to art, masters, baby, miniatures and youth, including a grouping of creative demonstrators as well as workshops by guest artist Pam Buda as well as a new Sauder Village Schoolhouse event, a Vendor Market in the Museum Building, special music, demonstrations and of course, many great buys in Threads of Tradition Quilt Shop.
Pam Buda is a traditional quilt designer using traditional blocks, fabrics and colors constructed with today’s modern quilting techniques. She designs quilts for her company Heartspun Quilts. She is creator of the Prairie Women’s Sewing Circle club, which focuses on small reproduction quilts, life in America~ circa 1840-1900, as well as “Make-do” quilts. She now designs fabric for Marcus Fabrics. Pam enthusiastically shares her piecing tips and tricks along with her love of quilting with her students. More at: https://www.heartspunquilts.com.
