(AAPNW-WV) – Two new decision-makers have been appointed to the Board of Governors at West Virginia University. Wheeling resident William D. Wilmoth and Parkersburg’s James “Jamie” Six both received their appointment by Governor Earl Ray Tomblin that began February 2.
As Managing Member of the Steptoe & Johnson Attorneys, Wilmoth has also served as a United States Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia. In addition to his legal career, he served as a law instructor at West Virginia University and is a guest speaker at continuing legal education and industry seminars on commercial litigation and white collar crime issues. Currently, he is a board member of West Virginia Independent Colleges and Universities and a board member of the Education Alliance of West Virginia.
Over the years, Six has served on the West Virginia Association of Counties Board of Directors and the Wood County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. He is also an active member and past president of the Rotary Club of Parkersburg.
