(AAPNW-IN) – Organizations are encouraged to file application for the Statewide Arts Service Organization (SWASO) grant program because funding will be available to strengthen the capacity of arts organizations by providing financial support.
Statewide arts service organizations offer high quality training and technical assistance services on a statewide or multi-regional basis with special attention to arts providers in underserved communities. Grant recipients must provide matching funds for their awards.
To apply for the grant program, organizations must submit a Letter of Intent to apply and can be emailed to kdavis-smith@iac.in.gov or by US mail to Indiana Arts Commission, attn: Kristina Davis-Smith, 100 North Senate Ave., Room N505, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 4:30 pm (EST) is the deadline for the Letter of intent.
