“Stormy Sunset” by Zachary Hargrove of Bismarck was chosen Best in Show in the Scenery category as well as chosen the Decade’s Best.

Works of the 16th Annual North Dakota Governor’s Photo Contest are on view at the Capitol Building in Bismarck, North Dakota during the months of November and December. The winner’s works are on display in the Treasurer’s and Auditor’s third floor offices, the Attorney General’s first floor office and in the Governor’s ground floor staff offices.

Photos were judged on originality, subject matter, visual appeal and ability to portray North Dakota as a legendary travel destination in the categories of adventure and recreation, roadtrips, communities and events, fun with family and friends, scenery, and wildlife.
