TITLE: A Night of Utopian Gestures
BRIEF ABOUT: An interactive celebration of the current exhibition on view through June 9, Without Reality There Is No Utopia, includes Dana Yahalomi, the leader of the Public Movement, which stages political actions in public spaces; Michael Swaine, a founding members of Futurefarmers; FEMA, an art collective appropriating the mission of a disaster management agency; Swap/Meet SF, an artists’ exchange collective; and music by Snow Angels and Micropixies, a mixture of trip-hop, indie-pop, folk, and North Indian classical music.
