STEUBENVILLE, OH (AAPNW) – Steubenville Public Library. Monday, January 9, 2023, Chinese New Year Craft, Main Library. Teens ages 12 to 19 will have fun creating a traditional Chinese Red Envelope and Paper Lantern crafts at the library.
Known as Spring Festival, Chinese New Year lasts for approximately 23 days. There are various Chinese New Year symbols that express different meanings. As an example, an image of a fish symbolizes “having more than one needs every year,” A firecracker symbolizes “good luck in the coming year,” and festival lanterns symbolize “pursuing the bright and the beautiful.”
