Dunn works on view Dakota capitol

Exhibiting works of Fargo artist Michael Dunn are on view at the North Dakota Capitol Building in Bismarck through March 2015.

     Dunn has been a practicing professional artist and educator since 1975. His works are included in numerous local, regional and national exhibitions in which he has received awards. His work is in many private and corporate collections in the United States and abroad.

     Born and reared in Fargo, North Dakota, artist Dunn attended North Dakota State School of Science, taking courses in Pre-Education. He completed his undergraduate work at Valley City State University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in art and physical education. He was awarded a Master of Studio Art from Moorhead State University.

     Currently Dunn teaches senior high art and is the Department Chairman of Visual Arts at Moorhead Senior High School, Moorhead Minnesota. In addition, he has instructed watercolor rendering for the theater at Trollwood Performing Arts School and continues to teach various painting workshops throughout the Midwest.
