RAPID CITY, SD (PNAN) – An exhibition of oil paintings by Minnesotan artist Kimble Bromley, “Color around the Pond” goes on view Friday, September 16, 2022 in the Sen. Stan Adelstein & Lynda K. Clark Gallery of the Dahl Arts Center.

Each summer, Kimble sets up an outdoor studio for plein air painting by his pond near Fergus Falls, MN. The exhibit takes inspiration from his own eight-acre pond as well as a 2019 trip Kimble took to Claude Monet’s home and garden in Giverny, France. “I wanted to look at how he paints…Seeing his gardens, I can see where he got his inspiration.”
