BRIEF ABOUT: City of Coral Springs, Florida seeks public art proposals from both single artist and/or teams of artists interested in creating a commissioned art piece for permanent display. The artwork should embody the city’s mission as the nation’s premier community in which to live, work and raise a family, as well as celebrate the City’s 50th Anniversary in 2013. The Total Purchase Budget is $75,000.00.
The Coral Springs Public Art Program was established in 2003 and currently has 15 pieces of artwork from artists including, Tom Askman, Kevin Barrett, Micajah Bienvenu, James Burnes, CERO, Kimber Fiebiger, Jack Howard-Potter, Hanna Jubran, Doug Makemson, Richard Metlock, Kim Rodacia, Marialuisa Tadei, Cameron Van Dyke and Gustavo Verano.
