TITLE: Off the Hook
BRIEF ABOUT: Approximately 200 handmade antique, modern and contemporary hook rugs by dozens of Southeastern artists. From delicate flowers to bold geometric designs, from curious self-portraits to beloved animals, you will learn about the origins of the craft as a utilitarian object two centuries ago and its development into a mode of self-expression and even fine art.
