Half glass of water
Half glass of water in my hands –
The rest of my life.
I can drink it in one big gulp, or
I can add something sweet and enjoy it,
Drinking in small sips,
I can add something bitter or dirty,
And still I should drink it to the end,
It’s my fault.
I can see just plain water in it, or
Rainbow blinks of light.
I can hold it calm and quiet, or
I can shake it and leave wet stains
All over the place.
I can share my drink with another person,
I can save somebody, giving him or her
The last drop of my life.
I can.
It’s my life.
