TITLE: Art in the Home- Goes Green

BRIEF ABOUT: In Inez Greenberg Gallery a bi-annual exhibition that focuses on artist-created furniture and home accessories which are made from recycled, repurposed or otherwise sustainable material.

     Participating artists are: Felice Amato, Teresa Audet, Heather Cole, Garrett Glaser, Heidi Henderson, Marty Hicks, Jason Holtz, Fred Johnson, Julie Keller, Christopher and Stacy Kelly, Paul Klein, Julie Reeve, Tom Schrunk, Michelle Worms and Cindy Vargas. (NOTE: An Artist Talk will be on Thursday, March 29 at 7:00 pm). This exhibit is in conjunction with the City of Bloomington’s Home Improvement Fair on Saturday, February 25.

 

Collette, 2004. “In an attempt to capture the tension I believe to exist in humans today, I strive to present the subject in both divine and worldly aspects focusing on everyday people and not the preordained ‘holy’ people of history.”- Nicholas Harper

    Currently on view, “Lace and Gunpowder: The Male/Female Art Exhibition,” features the artistic pairing of Tina Blondell and Nicholas Harper, Karen Searle and David Aschenbrener, Lynn Speaker and John Schuerman, and Kim Matthews and Ron Taylor. (NOTE: An Artist Talk/ Panel Discussion is on for Thursday, February 9 at 7:00 pm).
