TITLE: African American Art on the Cultural Trail: A New Public Art Competition
BRIEF ABOUT: This open call is to experienced African American artists from the United States with preference given to Indiana artists, the ACI and GIPC are requesting proposals from artists or artist teams who are interested in creating outdoor public artwork.
The artwork should represent the Indianapolis African American community in a thoughtful, insightful, creative, and positive manner. This call is not limited to any specific medium. The selection committee is open to all media and styles including the use of technology. Artists not familiar with Indianapolis or the Indianapolis Cultural Trail will find information and resources at www.indyarts.org.
