TITLE: Art on the Wabash, a Local Artists’ Fair
BRIEF ABOUT: Tall shade trees, a riverside park and dozens of artists displaying and selling their latest works during this 7th annual fair. Artists from Benton, Fountain, Montgomery, Tippecanoe and White Indiana counties were selected by juror Craig Hadley, curator of exhibitions and university collections at DePauw University. He’s a graduate of Beloit College with a master’s from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
Artists include painters: Rebecca Brody and Alice Harpel; Jewelry designers: Lisa Hopkins, Rebecca Minniear, Joanne Kuhn Titolo and Deborah Waymire; Potters: Coal Creek Clay, Mary Firestone, Scott Frankenberger, Nancy Grenard, Gail Johnston, Diana May, Angi Peterson, Roberta Schonemann and Angela Vinson; Glassworkers: Deb Achgill, Kathryn Bodine, Sharon Owens, Beverly Skinner and Lisa Walsh; Mixed media artists: EB Bead and Metal Works and Becky Chapman; Woodworkers: Phil Conlon and William Krug; Sculpture: Donna Leuck and Craig Whitten.
