In mid-June 2019, Columbus Press released “Random God Sightings” by Kelly Hanes, a book featuring twenty-six true stories of the author’s encounters with God in the real world.
Born and raised in Greenville, Ohio and eventually making homes in Brookville and Eaton, Ohio with her young family, Kelly made another move in 2003 to Houston, Texas, where she enrolled at the University of Houston and began taking writing courses. Eventually, she graduated with Bachelor of Arts in English as well as was recipient of an award from The Honors College for her thesis, “Wordsworth and the Religious Experience.”
Over the years in rural small town Ohio, chance encounters led her to wonder if God really shows up in the real world. She began to ask God to show up and earnestly seek to see Him.
