(NWPR-IN) – “We have a great selection of gifts for the artsy people in your life,” says Deb Washler of Artlink in Fort Wayne. “Our new artists this year include Dixie Landis Bradley who brought in her fused glass pendants, and Betty Fishman will be selling a few of her hand-crafted, full-sized aprons. She’s attached some of her cyano-types to them and in the front pocket is a matching potholder. How fun is that!”
The Holiday Art Market sale runs through Sunday, January 2, with many one-of-a-kind items under $20, like jewelry of Cat Voors; knitted shrugs, mittens and boleros of Dawn Pursel; spiral-bound journals by Lorri Courtney; artsy magnet clips, mixed-media journals and short retro homemade aprons by Kari Woitalla; charming bags of tiny “hand” soaps at $12 and some wonderfully sewn totes at $33 by Marie Gardeski, textile handbags of Eunice Scully; small Christmas-themed framed art by Bill Shewman; and Curtis Rose’s finely made wooden mini-Möbius sculptures.
