Local artist and Wassenberg Art Center Office Manager Matt Temple has been selected as the 2022 Ohio Art Education Association’s Distinguished Citizen for Art Education in the Northwest Region. This award recognizes individuals who work outside of the field of classroom education yet contribute to art education in some special way. This regional selection places Matt in competition with other outstanding arts advocates, one from each of OAEA’s eight regions. The state winner will be announced in 2023.
