TITLE: Tanja Alexia Hollander: Are You Really My Friend?

BRIEF ABOUT: Photographic portraits that examine friendships in the social media environment. This Maine photographer records the intimacy of friendship by stepping away from the computer and into the private homes of her more than 600 Facebook friends. Her first solo exhibition at PMA, is the fifth in a series of exhibitions called “Circa” that delves into a range of conditions of contemporary art in the state of Maine and beyond.
