New fun on Wassenberg ‘art board’

     (NWPR) – In keeping with tradition of quality art education instruction, two new adult classes and a one-day workshop WAC’s Fall agenda. They are:

     CREATIVE DRAWING: October 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.  Class is designed for adults with some drawing experience.  The cost is $45 for members, $55 for non-members.  Improve your drawing skills using different media in a variety of ways!    Materials needed: Drawing pad and/or Bristol paper pad, assortment of drawing pencils (for example, B, HB, 2B), kneaded eraser, small piece of fine sandpaper, permanent ink pen, small piece of smooth wood (no larger than 5 x 7 inches, colored pencils.

     FUN WITH WATERCOLOR AND MIXED MEDIA: November 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.  Class is designed for adults with some watercolor experience.  The cost is $47 for members, $57 for non-members.  Add pizzazz to your watercolor with new techniques and combinations of mediums.  Materials needed:  Watercolors, palette for mixing colors (for example, a Styrofoam plate), brushes, drawing pencil, kneaded eraser, permanent ink pen, colored pencil, small piece of fine sandpaper.

     DYNAMIC CARDMAKING: Saturday, November 6, from 9:00 am to Noon.  This three-hour workshop for adults is for all skill levels. The cost is $25 for members, $35 for non-members.  Enjoy a morning of creativity and fun as you learn different approaches to making one-of-a-kind greeting cards and holiday cards!  All materials will be provided.
