New program all about talent

(NWPR-OH) – On Thursday, July 21 from 5:00-7:00 pm, the Lima Symphony Orchestra’s new summer mini-concert series of music in unexpected places begins at the Allen County Airport Authority. This free public series will highlight the island sounds of the Lima Marimba Ensemble, a lively all-percussion ensemble led by LSO principal percussionist James Leaman, who will be joined by several members of our orchestra.

The next two performances will be Thursday, August 18 at the Metropolitan Block (formerly the Stippich Builing) with the jazz sounds of the Pete Ford Trio and on Thursday, September 15, the Cap City Rockers will be performing everything from Rogers and Hart to Coldplay.
