BRIEF ABOUT: Calling all area student musicians to audition for the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Dayton Philharmonic Youth Strings 2013-2014 Season. “Each year, our Youth Orchestras offer talented, young musicians the opportunity to perform fine orchestral literature and further develop their musical talents,” said Gloria Pugh, Director of Education for the DPAA. “Working with professional musicians, the culmination will be three concert performances by the Youth Orchestra and two concerts by the Youth Strings.” To schedule an audition time, applicants must phone the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance at 937.224.3521 ext. 1136 or ext. 1118.
