TITLE: Frozen: Prudence Y. Gill, Terry Lindquist & Jacci Delaney
BRIEF ABOUT: Water has the ability to transform into three common states of matter—liquid, gas and ice. In artist Prudence Y. Gill’s most recent work, she directs her attention to the qualities of water in its coldest state. Terry Lindquist’s black and white photographs of frozen surfaces create worlds where scale is insignificant and the architecture of nature carries the viewer between the macro and micro cosmos of possibilities. Jacci Delaney’s technique of fusing whole specimen fish in sculpted glass provides the viewer a glimpse of fossilized underwater life, frozen in time.
