TITLE: Dayton Mountain Dulcimer Society Annual concert
BRIEF ABOUT: A winter dulcimer concert with featured artist Dee Dee Tibbits, who comes from a musical family, where she was known as somewhat of a prodigy, playing the piano at the age of 3 and having mastered the saxophone by age 8. Dee Dee has a strong gospel background and was a long time member of the Saginaw group, “Living Truth”. Although she is a strong admirer and collector of historical instruments, such as the glockenspiel and the penny whistle, she has embraced the hammered dulcimer as her signature instrument, often performing with the group Sonas which specializes in Celtic music.
