“A Light Spark”, oil, 18 x 24 inches by Steven S. Walker.

WHERE: Troy-Hayner Cultural Center.

WHEN: Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 6:00-7:30 pm.

BRIEF ABOUT: A free educational demonstration with landscape artist Steven S. Walker, who says, “The light and emotion that stem from my paintings is heavily based on the time of day. Nature is beautiful on its own but I see it as my responsibility to capture various scenes at their most inspiring moments. The time of day is more of an exploration of light and its relationship and role in nature. There are all sorts of moods throughout the day but I have chosen to focus on the bright side of the day and share it with you.”
