The Zine Project
BRIEF ABOUT: Submissions are sought for the Zine, an independent arts and culture magazine. The Zine aims to document and promote the thriving creative culture that exists in the Black Hills. Selected work will be featured in its publication, where its print release will be released in the spring of 2016. Submissions are in three areas: Visual Art, Literature and Photography.
The guidelines are:
- We highly recommend black and white submissions. The Zine will be printed in black and white. Work submitted in color may end up being unusable.
- Work will be accepted from people age 13 – 30
- Images must be submitted by e-mail in jpeg format.
- Artists can submit up to five (5) images.
The Guidelines for Literary submissions are:
- We are seeking literary submission in the following areas: poetry, haiku, editorials, interviews with creative people in any genre, short fiction, original music lyrics, etc.
- Must be a minimum of 12 words and a maximum of 250 words.
The Guidelines for all submissions are:
- Must be appropriate for general audience viewing. Offensive or explicit imagery or language will not be accepted.
- Deadline for submissions: Sunday, February 21, 2016 at midnight.
