Where it all began

“In 1946 Don Hall was a young Fort Wayne man with a background in the meat business, forty acres of swamp land and a dream. The land was south of Fort Wayne on Bluffton Road. His dream was a Drive-In Restaurant on that land.

The day after Thanksgiving that year, the dream became a reality as he opened the first Hall’s establishment of what would become one of the most unique restaurant groups in the country. As each new restaurant opened with its own flair and personality, there remained key connecting principels for quality, service and value he demanded of them all.

It is our dedicated commitment to these principals, and the loyal patronage of all those who “notice the difference” that ensure Don Hall’s Restaurants continued success and growth. Thanks to a dream on that cold November day in 1946 when it all began, we’ve been serving it hot for over 60 years.”
