(PNAN-CALIF) – Georgia O’Keefe said, “If you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for the moment,” and for all goers to Affinity Galleries at 216 Promenade in Long Beach on Saturday, April 9, they will have the opportunity to experience a ‘show of shows’ from 6:00-10:00 pm entitled, “Sacre Du Printemps: Art, Music and Dance” that unites the visual and performing arts in a celebration of springtime.
Curator Tony Clark says, “It is a new beginning and a rebirth of our world that has been in the dark, and now we are filled with happiness and wonder.”
On the walls will be artworks by j.Reto, David Gardner, Sel Sarkin, Roy Anthony Shabla, Michael Verbenec, Randall David Oldrieve, William Emboden, Stan Howard, Larisa “Lark” Pilinsky, William Haugse and Eva Montealegre, who also be painting as well as dancers from the Fred Sugerman Medicine Dance Company will perform to the sounds of the SangomaBeat during this opening night reception.
