The 41st exhibition of the Ohio Watercolor Society makes its scheduled showing at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center in Troy, Ohio from Friday, April 5 through Sunday April 28, 2019. “Many of the selected works have that quality of undeniable appeal causing us to want to see them again and again,” expressed Robbie Laird, a juror for Watercolor Ohio. The Ohio Watercolor Society was formed by a group of Ohio artists who were members of the American Watercolor Society or whose works had been accepted into one of the juried exhibitions of AWS, NWS, or Watercolor USA during the period 1971 – 1978. How about on Saturday, April 6, 2019, “Poetry at Hayner: A Mosaic of Voices” at 7:30 pm. Invited poets will read their own works in five-minute segments followed by an intermission featuring beautiful hors d’oeuvres and wine bar. Note: The event is free!
