Show to stop at Hayner Center

The 41st exhibition of the Ohio Watercolor Society makes its scheduled showing at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center in Troy, Ohio from Friday, April 5 through Sunday April 28, 2019. “Many of the selected works have that quality of undeniable appeal causing us to want to see them again and again,” expressed Robbie Laird, a juror for Watercolor Ohio. A glimpse of some of the works are presented here.

Movie for Friday, April 5 is “The Parent Trap” – a 1961 Disney classic film featuring  Haley Mills as teenage twin sisters who swap places in an effort to reunite their divorced parents. Maureen O’Hara and Brian Keith play their parents. Note: Movie is free and includes a soft drink and popcorn.

How about on Saturday, April 6, 2019, “Poetry at Hayner: A Mosaic of Voices” at 7:30 pm. Invited poets will read ​their own works in five-minute segments followed by an intermission featuring beautiful hors d’oeuvres and wine bar. Note: The event is free!
