(NWPR-IN) – On Wednesday, October 27 at 4:00 pm in the Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts, “All-Area Music Student Recital” makes its debut, staged by Huntington University as part of its Afternoon Concert Series programming.
“’All-Area’ is really a great performance opportunity for all students who are taking applied lessons. You can see anything from a pianist to a violinist to a percussionist perform,” said Dr. George Killian, director of choral activities and music education at Huntington University. “There is a mixed bag of performances so you never know what you are going to see when you come.”
The event, free and open to the public, will feature a variety of music majors and minors in vocal and instrumental solo or chamber music performances. The next recital is Wednesday, November 10 at 4:00 pm.
