Currently, he co-produces on anchor Doug Grunther’s Sunday morning show, the Woodstock Roundtable on WDST-NY 100.1fm and performs with the Hawk Project, one of the country’s leading contemporary Native American Jazz ensembles. Also over time, he has soloed and performed with various artists on more than 16 albums. In addition, he established the Brooklyn Conservatory Jazz Program in mid 70s as well as lectured on World Music at Oxford University and the Royal Conservatory in England, including touring with legendary Reggae artist Max Romeo.
Mancini adheres to the philosophy that music puts faces on all the human senses because “sound without an identification and a spiritual foundation has no impact.”
