The ‘Eagles’ will land in Lima

(NWPR-OH) – With a completely new musical format, the Lima Symphony Orchestra joins Canada’s Jean ‘n Classics band on Friday, December 31, ringing in the 2011 with the music of the Eagles, beginning at 7:30 pm at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center.

The Jeans ‘n Classics concept of combining rock musicians with symphony orchestras has revolutionized the music industry, and with LSO they will blend their classic rock style with songs and sounds of the Eagles greatest hits, from Hotel California, including Take it Easy, The Long Run, Boys of summer, In a New York Minute, All She Wants to do is Dance, Heart of the Matter, Desperado, Get Over It, Hotel California, New Kid in Town, Life in the Fast Lane, Wasted Time, Wasted Time (Reprise), Victim of Love, Pretty Maids All in a Row, Try and Love Again and The Last Resort.

Peter Brennan says, “If you combine the musical impact of a great rock band and terrific vocals with the awesome power of a symphony orchestra, and then ask them to perform some of the best classic rock, R&B and pop material from the past 40 years, you’ll get a sense of what a Jeans ‘n Classics concert experience is all about.”  For tickets, call 419-222-5701.
