RAPID CITY, SD (PNAN) – In the galleries at the Dahl Arts Center, on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm, an Artist’s Reception will be for the Northern Plains Watercolor Society Member’s 28th Annual Celebration of Light Exhibition which is on view through October 21, 2023. This group show features nearly 60 works of art by more than 30 watercolor artists.
On Friday, September 1, 2023 in the Ruth Brennan Gallery, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, an Artist’s Reception will be for Ladies, Bros & Clothes. This exhibit combines two bodies of Klaire Lockheart’s work, Brodalisques and Feminine Attempts. The artist uses the human form and humor as a vehicle to communicate the agency of women with viewers.
