TITLE: Featured Artists and Studio Exhibitions
BRIEF ABOUT: A group of shows of personal expression is conveyed using various materials in a host of campus-wide buildings with opening receptions held in conjunction with the 2nd Saturday Art Walk on January 14 from 6:00-9:00 pm.
As artists their aesthetic response enlightens their social response that they are empowered to create a difference which can be discovered in WAC buildings such as in W-7 Studio Exhibition: Glasshouse Artists; W-8 Studio Exhibition: Ceramics Resident Artists; W-9 features Sarah Sertic’s “American City Ruins” from the Eastern State Penitentiary, Belle Isle in Richmond, Virginia and the Workhouse Art Center; “Multiple Media” artworks by all the artists in W-10; In the Vulcan Gallery at W-16, Karen Hutchison’s “Wintry Interlude” and Mike Minnery are the featured associate artists.
