Viewers to ‘light up’ artist’s works

RAPID CITY, SD (PNAN) – On Friday, December 10, 2021, “Happy Medium by artist Bob H. Miller opens at the Dahl Arts Center is a new show of reflectorized collages made with Scotchlite reflective tape, which also used on traffic signs. To view the work properly, the Ruth Brennan Gallery will be dark and flashlights will be provided. The exhibit will close on April 2, 2022.

A native South Dakotan, Bob H. Miller began studying art as an undergraduate at South Dakota State University in Brookings and received a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of North Dakota. American pop culture has been a strong influence throughout his career which artist Miller has created works using various mediums, including collage, painting and photography. His major emphasis was in Batik painting.
