“The Open Door” , watercolor with pen and ink, is by Kay Sluterbeck, an editorial cartoonist who has won several Associated Press of Ohio awards as well as many for her paintings and drawings in regional competition. She enjoys working in watercolor and acrylics and resides in Van Wert, Ohio with her cats Rocky, Yum Yum, Roo, and Miss Tabitha.
