NWPR-OH – Not only will the airways in the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church be filled with music by Corelli and Mozart, masters of the Baroque and Classical periods, as well as twentieth century works of the British composer, David Stone and African American composer William Grant Still, but also hearts in the audience will experience the passions of the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Strings, as they perform their Winter Concert on Sunday, November 21 at 3:00 pm. Admission is free for this 6-12 grade performance group.

About – Established in, the mission of the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Strings is to provide musical enrichment and advanced concert experience for string students in grades 6-12. The Youth Strings consists of 54 students representing 22 different schools from the Greater Dayton area. Students in the Junior String Orchestra perform challenging original string literature. Regularly performing winter and spring concerts, the Youth Strings often performs additional concerts throughout the year for senior centers and at community events.
