Works of impressive expressionism

TROY, OH (NWPR) – On view at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center through November 28, 2021, Light and Color: Portraits and Landscapes” are works by Heather Bullach, (www.heatherbullach.com) a Canton, Ohio portrait and landscape artist who primarily creates with oils, whose style ranges from hyper-realism to expressive impressionism.

“I am captivated by light. The way light shifts, creates colors, evokes moods and emotions; the way it changes with the time of day, with the weather, and with the season,” said artist Bullach. “I love capturing these nuances, whether they are playing across a face and figure or in the landscapes around my Northeast Ohio home.”
